1. Children art competition - 2 children sponsored by Indian Society of Hypertension participated in the art competition and were declared as winners .. Their art work are displayed in the WHL website . As per my request the WHL secretary has sent the certificates which were distributed to them .

2. WHD & WHM Activities :

Though I have data for more than 1200 patients we were able to complete 200 with required information . I am in the process of reducing the details required

[ very important information on BP , Newly detected hypertension , controlled Hypertension , Uncontrolled hypertension and co morbid conditions with details of drugs are included ] which will consume more time . I will be happy to provide the details of other patients in due course provided you give permission to do that .

NDTV Program by myself which lasted for 1 minute and I focussed on WHD Theme which covered PAN India . Video clipping attached .

I conducted an interactive facebook interview on Hypertension and its non pharmacological management through Target Hypertension Facebook .

Initiated by USV which was viewed by 10,000 people . This had happened on 17th october on WHD .

On 18th October I had given another interview for Speak Health in the facebook [ Sun Pharma ] on " Measure Blood Pressure , Control it & Live longer"

which is the theme for WHD . This was viewed by more than 1000 people in 1 hour . Many doctors raised questions and I clarified their doubts .

I took nearly 68 questions on facebook to give appropriate answers for the management of Hypertension .

Activities done by Dr.Anuj Maheshwari , Treasurer & Academic co-ordinator & Dr Narsingh verma Secretary InSH

1) Dr Anuj Maheshwari addressed members of Lion's Club meeting as Chief Guest and Key note speaker on 18th October 6.30PM where he motivated their members to measure their blood pressure and share the data with us. This program was organised by Dr Padmshri Gulati a member of Indian Society of Hypertension. She trained members of Lions club how to measure Blood Pressure in home. About 346 people participated in this program.

2) Indian Society of hypertension organised a training program for HEALTH CARE WORKERS including doctors working in periphery in four modules . HCWs completed the course were felicitated as "Hypertension Activist of 2020" . 856 health care professionals completed this course.

3) Indian Society of Hypertension tried to bring other societies working in the same directions on one platform while working on " Hypertension Knowledge Network" in which stalworts of Cardiological Society of India, Indian Nephrology Society, Association of physician of India & Research Society for study of Diabetes in India came on one platform to work together. This was inaugurated on 18th october 2020 in collaboration of "Knowledge Bridge".

4) A patient assisting mobile application has been launched providing scientific inputs by Indian Society of Hypertension. Queries of patients coming on this application downloaded by patients shall be resolved by members of Indian Society of hypertension.

5) Because of COVID-19, Physical meetings could not be organised but Indian Society of Hypertension continued its door to door campaign in villages of India by Dr Narsingh verma Secretary InSH & Dr Anuj Maheshwari, Treasurer & Academic co-ordinator of Indian Society of Hypertension under the leadership of President Dr.S.N.Narasingan.
